[ENG] Textual criticism, discrepancies, debate with Ehrman, canon (Prof. Daniel B. Wallace) |🎙R+F Podcast

Can the text of the New Testament be trusted? In this podcast, we tackle the key issues of textual criticism, manuscript reliability, and the formation of the New Testament canon with one of the leading scholars, Daniel Wallace. We talk about:

• How is the original text of the Bible reconstructed?

• How many variant New Testament manuscripts exist and why is this not a problem?

• What is the answer to skeptics referring to Bart Ehrman?

• Why is the New Testament more reliable than many texts of antiquity?

• Why didn't God preserve the original?

• Who formed the canon of Scripture and how?

• Why were some books (e.g., the Gospel of Thomas or the book of Enoch) not included?
